War of the Roses

A new game is going into closed beta. This game is called War of the Roses.

War of the Roses is an action game currently under development at Fatshark and on schedule for release by Paradox Interactive in Q2 or Q3 2012. The game is set during the Wars of the Roses which ravaged England in the 15th century.

War of the Roses puts the player in control of a single, customizable soldier fighting for either the House of Lancaster or the House of York. The game plays in a third-person viewpoint and contains both single player and multiplayer modes; multiplayer being the main feature.

So the idea has been floating around in our heads to make a new League of Legends all female team since most of us are former members of 4Nothing Plays Like a Girl. After talking about it for weeks we are going to try our hands at making a team again, the roster is looking like..

Overall we do want to keep this blog opened to all gaming instead of just League of Legends. However this will be where we post updates for our team same with our Twitter (so follow us!). Smite & Smite Wiki

Smite, the new moba game that has been in beta since May 2012. This game combines the first person view with the tactics required in a standard MOBA game. However this MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game stands out for quite a few reasons. 

• 1.) The characters playable are all deities, messengers to the deities or avatars of a selected pantheon. 
• 2.) All the playable characters are based of off pantheons from around the world. The current pantheons included in the game are: Greek, Norse, Hindu, Chinese and Egyptian.
• 3.) The characters actually resemble the deity, messenger or avatar that they represent. Their skills also reflect on some of their lore or what you would expect from that deity, messenger, or avatar.

The following image is of Artemis. She is the Greek Goddess of the hunt. She is known to be able to dish out a lot of damage very fast and use the nature to her advantage, including summoning her pet Kalydonian Boar. 

For all those new to smite, it is highly recommended that you go check out the Curse Smite wiki. You will be able to find additional information on all the deities, messengers or avatars as well as in game items and more!

RAIDCall To Arms with ItsGosu - Week 1

Today ItsGosu ran its "RAIDCall to Arms" today. Which is featured two NA teams against each other for a $200 (USD) Prize. Team 4Not faced off against Team Curse (NA) in a best of 5 glorious battle to continue on through the RAID Call to Arms series!

I'm sure you are all wondering who won. Well first off let me tell you to check out ItsGosu and their stream next Thursday at 7 pm pst, to see the next teams that face off for $200 and a chance to continue on in the bracket to win more. Now onto what the score was for that series:
